કેવી રીતે પાળવું
જો શક્ય હોય તો આમળાના વૃક્ષ નીચે અથવા તેની નજીક પૂજા કરો. વૃક્ષના મૂળમાં જળ, દૂધ, પુષ્પો અને તુલસી અર્પણ કરો, પછી વિષ્ણુ મંત્રનો જાપ કરતા ૧૦૮ વાર પરિક્રમા કરો. વ્રત દરમિયાન આમળા ફળનું કોઈ પણ સ્વરૂપમાં સેવન કરો (તે એકાદશી વ્રતનો ભંગ કરતું નથી). પારણા સમયે, આમળા સાથે વ્રત ખોલો. અન્યને આમળાના રોપા અથવા ફળોનું દાન કરો. આ વ્રત વિષ્ણુ-પૂજાને વૃક્ષ ભક્તિ સાથે જોડે છે.
મહત્વ
