8 powerful chart tools — birth chart, matching, forecasts & advanced systems
A Vedic Kundali (also called a janma patrika or birth chart) is a snapshot of the sky at the moment of birth, drawn from the perspective of the birth location. Unlike Western astrology which uses the tropical zodiac, Jyotish uses the sidereal (Nirayana) zodiac aligned with the actual fixed stars — the current ayanamsha offset is roughly 24°.
A complete Vedic reading goes far beyond the main D-1 birth chart. The classical texts (Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Saravali, Phaladeepika) prescribe sixteen divisional charts (shodasha vargas) — each magnifying a specific area of life: marriage (D-9 Navamsa), career (D-10 Dasamsa), children (D-7 Saptamsa), and so on. Strength of each planet is measured via Shadbala (six-fold strength) and Ashtakavarga (eight-source point system).
Our chart tools cover four levels of practice. At the foundation level you have a free Kundali, Gun Milan matching, and Sign Calculator. For forecasting you have Varshaphal annual chart, Transits, and the Retrograde calendar.
Advanced practitioners can reach for the KP System (249 sub-lords), Prashna horary, and the Kerala-style Ashtamangala Prashna. Specialty charts include the Cosmic Blueprint, Tithi Pravesha birthday chart, and Upagraha shadow points.
To learn the foundations, start with the Kundali curriculum or the broader Sadhaka Path quest.
