Pushya

The nourisher; the flower

Presided by Brihaspati (Jupiter), the guru of the gods. Pushya is considered the most auspicious of all 27 Nakshatras — the "king of Nakshatras." It embodies divine nourishment, spiritual teaching, and unconditional support.

Supreme nourishment and auspiciousness. Pushya is the most universally favorable Nakshatra — any activity begun under Pushya is blessed. Governs spiritual nourishment, teaching, charity, and benevolence.

Wise, generous, spiritual, protective. Pushya natives are natural counselors and protectors. They radiate warmth and wisdom, attracting others seeking guidance. Can be overly sacrificing.
