કેવી રીતે પાળવું
સૂર્યોદયથી ચંદ્રદય સુધી ઉપવાસ કરો. ગણેશને મોદક અને દૂર્વા ઘાસ તૈયાર કરીને અર્પણ કરો. સંકષ્ટી ગણપતિ સ્તોત્રનો પાઠ કરો. ચંદ્રના દર્શન કર્યા પછી અને પૂજા પૂર્ણ કર્યા પછી જ ઉપવાસ તોડો. જો વાદળોને કારણે ચંદ્ર દેખાતો ન હોય, તો બીજા દિવસ સુધી ઉપવાસ કરો.
