Dana includes offering food (especially Kheer, Puri), clothing, sesame seeds, or black lentils to Brahmins, the poor, or in a temple for ancestral blessings.

Tuesday is ruled by Mangala (Mars), embodying energy, courage, and assertiveness. Its character is fiery, dynamic, and protective, influencing physical prowess and property matters. This day is auspicious for activities requiring strength, resolving conflicts, and matters related to land or engineering. It is generally favorable for surgical procedures or competitive endeavors. Devotees often recite the Hanuman Chalisa and worship Lord Hanuman to mitigate Mars' challenging influences and gain strength, courage, and protection from adversities. Fasting is also observed for overcoming obstacles.
