Example Chart Position
Aries Lagna example — actual positions will vary
Mahabhagya Yoga is one of the rarest and most auspicious yogas in Vedic astrology. For males, it requires a daytime birth with the Sun, Moon, and Lagna all in odd signs (Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, Aquarius). For females, it requires a night birth with all three in even signs.
The yoga grants great fortune, long life, fame, power, and prosperity. Natives with Mahabhagya are considered blessed by destiny itself. Its rarity (only ~3% of charts) makes it genuinely significant when present.
Great Fortune
Blessed by destiny. Long life, fame, wealth, power, and lasting legacy.
This yoga typically manifests as a life path marked by significant public recognition and material success. Individuals often exhibit a natural leadership temperament, attracting opportunities for power and influence. Their relationships tend to be supportive, contributing to a stable and prosperous existence, often leaving a notable legacy. Health tends to be robust, supporting a long and active life.
The yoga's full effects typically manifest during the major periods (Dashas) or sub-periods (Antardashas) of Surya or Chandra. Activation can also occur during the Dasha of the Lagna lord, especially if well-placed.
