जैमिनी सूत्रे आणि बृहत् पराशर होरा शास्त्र अध्याय 31 मधून. अर्गला कोणते ग्रह प्रत्येक भावाच्या बाबींमध्ये सक्रियपणे हस्तक्षेप करतात हे प्रकट करते.
"अर्गला" या शब्दाचा शाब्दिक अर्थ "कडी" किंवा "अडसर" – दरवाजाच्या कडीसारखा. ज्योतिषात, हे त्या ग्रहीय हस्तक्षेपाला सूचित करते जे एखाद्या भावावर सहाय्य (किंवा अडथळा) लॉक करते.
अर्गला महर्षी जैमिनींच्या सूत्रांतून आणि बृहत् पराशर होरा शास्त्र (अध्याय 31) दोन्हींतून एक संकल्पना आहे. पराशर चार प्रकारच्या अर्गलांची व्याख्या करतात.
बृ.पा.हो.शा. अध्याय 31 सांगतो: "कोणत्याही भाव किंवा ग्रहापासून 2, 4 आणि 11व्या स्थानातील ग्रह त्या भाव/ग्रहावर अर्गला निर्माण करतात."
प्रत्येक प्रकारची अर्गला ग्रहीय हस्तक्षेपाची एक वेगळी यंत्रणा वर्णन करते.
Planets in the 2nd from a house provide resource and wealth intervention. They supply material support, financial backing, and family resources to the target house. Example: Jupiter in 8th house (2nd from 7th) provides wealth support to marriage.
Planets in the 4th from a house provide emotional and comfort intervention. They supply peace, emotional security, domestic support, vehicles, and property benefits. Example: Venus in 10th house (4th from 7th) provides emotional comfort to marriage.
Planets in the 11th from a house provide gains and achievement intervention. They bring fulfillment of desires, network support, elder sibling help, and income to the target house. Example: Saturn in 5th house (11th from 7th) provides steady, long-term gains to marriage.
Planets in the 5th from a house create a special Argala – related to intelligence, past-life merit (Purva Punya), children, and creative energy. This is sometimes called the most auspicious Argala because 5th house signifies Poorva Punya. Example: Mercury in 11th house (5th from 7th) provides intellectual/creative support to partnerships.
प्रत्येक अर्गलासाठी एक विरोध (अडथळा) बिंदू असतो. विरोध भावात ग्रह असल्यास ते अर्गला अवरोधित करण्याचा प्रयत्न करतात.

मुख्य नियम: अर्गला ग्रह >= विरोध ग्रह → अर्गला बनी रहती है। विरोध ग्रह > अर्गला ग्रह → अर्गला अवरुद्ध।
7व्या भावासाठी अर्गला शोधूया – विवाह, भागीदारी आणि सार्वजनिक व्यवहाराचा भाव.
Strong wealth/family support for marriage. Jupiter brings wisdom, Moon brings emotional nurturing.
Venus – the natural significator of love – in the 4th from 7th provides deep emotional comfort and harmony in marriage.
Saturn provides slow but steady gains. Marriage may start with challenges but builds lasting stability over time.
Mars alone in the 3rd tries to obstruct the Dhana Argala – but Jupiter + Moon (2 planets) > Mars (1 planet). Argala HOLDS. Wealth support for marriage is preserved despite martial friction.
Verdict: This 7th house is WELL-SUPPORTED
तीन सक्रिय अर्गलाएँ (धन, सुख, लाभ) और केवल एक आंशिक बाधा प्रयास जो विफल होता है। विवाह को मजबूत वित्तीय, भावनात्मक और उपलब्धि सहायता प्राप्त है।
कोणत्याही भावासाठी अर्गला विश्लेषण करण्यासाठी: (1) लक्ष्य भाव निवडा. (2) त्यापासून 2, 4, 5, 11 मोजा. (3) त्या भावांमध्ये कोणते ग्रह आहेत ते लक्षात घ्या.

जेव्हा एखाद्या महत्त्वपूर्ण भावाची (7वा विवाहासाठी, 10वा करिअरसाठी) अर्गला अवरोधित होते, तेव्हा उपाय अर्गला ग्रह बळकट करण्यावर केंद्रित असतात.
अनेक विशेष नियम अर्गला विश्लेषणाला साध्या भाव-गणनेपलीकडे नेतात:
Rahu and Ketu: When Rahu or Ketu cause Argala, the intervention is sudden, unconventional, and often karmic. Their Argala cannot be easily predicted by standard benefic/malefic logic.
Benefic vs Malefic Argala: Benefic planets (Jupiter, Venus, strong Moon, unafflicted Mercury) causing Argala bring positive intervention. Malefic planets (Saturn, Mars, Rahu, Ketu, weak Moon) bring challenging but transformative intervention.
Multiple Planet Argala: When 3+ planets create Argala from the same position, it becomes an extremely powerful influence – virtually unobstructable. This is called "Bahu Graha Argala" (multi-planet bolt).
Argala in Divisional Charts: Argala analysis should be done not only in the Rashi chart (D-1) but also in divisional charts – D-9 (Navamsha) for marriage, D-10 (Dashamsha) for career, etc. Argala in the relevant divisional chart confirms or denies the Rashi chart findings.
Sign-based Argala (Jaimini): In Jaimini's system, Argala is calculated from signs rather than houses. This means Argala can apply to any planet in the target sign, not just the house cusp. Jaimini also considers a planet's Chara Karaka status when evaluating Argala strength.
Always analyze Argala for the 1st, 7th, and 10th houses first – self, marriage, and career are the most impactful life areas.
If a house has NO Argala at all (empty 2nd, 4th, 5th, 11th from it), the house lacks active support – its significations depend entirely on the house lord and occupants.
Combine Argala with Ashtakavarga: if a house has strong Argala AND high Ashtakavarga bindus, it is exceptionally well-supported.
In transit analysis, temporary Argala forms when transiting planets occupy the 2nd, 4th, 5th, or 11th from a natal house – giving temporary boost or challenge to that house.
